Wandering Berlin Spirit i walk these streets alone--watchful and content and quiet. being by myself gives me a chance to really see the beauty of this place. and to feel exactly what was done here--to these people and these buildings. and to love them for the rebuilding. to love them for moving on. it's a hodge-podge here of old, destroyed, preserved, new, and funky. i am an observer and a lover. and at times a tourist. i am so grateful to be here, still. to be left behind in Europe...
