To those left behind:

Scott and I have officially been bought out of the partnership of Centered City Yoga. We just wanted you to know. And we wanted to take responsibility for the fallout you probably had to endure because of this end. For the classes you probably had to cover and for any confusion or frustration. We're sorry for the fallout and debris. We never meant for any of it to happen and have heavy hearts in leaving. You all came onto the scene right when things started to come to a head, and so Scott and I were feeling quite heavy and somewhat despondent and depressed about the whole thing. We tried to maintain the energy to make the place happy and running, but it was ending and slipping from our fingers, and we knew it. Sorry we weren't able to give our hearts completely at that stage.

Please know that we respect and love the 3 of you and hope to be able to come to your classes one day (when things have cooled off). I had just gone to my first class of Adam's, and I loved it, and I cried when I knew I had lost that, too.

Greater than the ugliness/discomfort/confusion/sadness of this whole thing is our RELIEF at seeing it end--so we can create and embrace new lives for ourselves, having received an education in the last 6 months about yoga, about opening a business, and about people.

We wish you much success and happiness at Centered City Yoga. It's a happy, good place with a lot of love and sacrifice in its walls, ceilings, and floors.

bye, centered city [2003-11-17]
