We were poking around a tea shop today. The shop WAS feng shue. Everything was made by hand, the ceramic tea sets, the incense, the incense boxes, everything.

In the corner of this little shop was a man sitting royaly behind a tea set. After a while he invited us over to share some tea. He ceremoniously prepared the water, poured it into the tea pot, into the cups, and served the tea. It was simple. It was beautiful. Even the seats were simple-perfect--wooden stumps covered in decorativly punched leather, worn and soft.

Things like this invitation for tea have stopped surprising me. It's just Korea.
