This is my twin's hilarious response to the previous entry: That is an amazing story! In your furious firefighting did you think to unplug the thing? Amazing that she runs for help and bangs on your door, and you just do what she could've done herself. But you are the brave one, and besides you were wearing fire-retardant underwear. It is really good that you were able to get the fire out because it would have burned down your place, too. Think of the lives you saved; the whole building could have burned down. Was it the realization of one of those moments when you need to do an immediate evaluation of all your worldly goods and grab Celeste dramatically by the arms and scream through the smoke (because smoke is loud), "Get the Foreman grill and our wedding pictures and get the hell out!"?
