My, I'm doing less these days.

An afternoon at Kouksundo and then tea and gentle smiles and laughter with Mr. Kim. Then maybe a quiet, deliberate meal in wooden bowls on warm yellow floors at Green World. Perhaps warm flower tea after, cupped in two hands.

To slow way down. To retreat from the noise. To start seeing for the first time all of the scattered images and words in my mind. Then to stop following every image and word. To still myself. To find quiet. To feel myself in my body.

Every day, the same prescription: Relax your body. Clear your mind. Feel as if you are the happiest person on the planet. Smile. Close your eyes. Place your loved ones inside your core. Put your consciousness with them. Breathe there. Fill up from above and then store it deep within. Be quiet and heal. Just follow the repeating sounds of the flute until it's gone. Don't try too hard. Feel always as if you are watching the sunset--peaceful and calm and easy.
